Pointy hats?

• In order to graduate from Gnome Academy, every Gnome must grow his own hat from a seed. It’s a very difficult horticultural challenge. But if he is successful, he can use his hat in many different ways…
  
  
• A Gnome's hat has magical healing powers.
  Used with a healing spell, placing a Gnome’s hat over a wilting flower can revive it. With a growth or shrinking spell it is possible to make objects bigger or smaller. But, as with all magic it must be used wisely, as there can be side effects. A shrinking spell could make you feel a bit sick and growth spell magic is slightly unstable.

• The most important function for a gnome’s hat is for Gnome Post. Letters and Parcels can be posted into the hat and sent to any destination. And if a Gnome states a location and blows histhumb whilst wearing a Gnome hat, he can posted to his desired location too!
  
  
  
• If a Gnome loses his hat, ‘Strange Things’ start to, as a reminder to keep looking for it. [In the Episode Where’s My Hat?, Gordon’s nose turns into a pinecone, his hair grows like grass and his boot become very big.]

Who’s in charge of all the Gnomes?
The Chief Gnome is in charge, from his home at The Royal Botanical Gardens Kew (Kew Gardens). His home is an ancient tree, situated near, The Palm House.

What is Gordon’s Magic Calendar?
On the wall in his bedroom, Gordon has a magic calendar. The picture on the calendar changes every day, giving Gordon a clue as to what will happen in his garden on that day.
